Today was our first fundraiser. We had a garage sale and the girls had a lemonade stand. It went great! We raised $563.00 as of this moment. I have a few people who have called about items and may show up this weekend to get them. $49.76 came from the lemonade stand! Our girls couldn't be more thrilled. They are definitely a huge part of this adoption. They are praying and putting forth effort in each step. Makes this mamas heart leap for joy!
We also had an unexpected blessing come our way. This week a local church that we are not members of chose us to be there mission this week for VBS. All of the money collected in the First Baptist Church VBS offering is going toward our adoption fund. WOW! That is just about all I can say! We have went to the church for their life groups on Sunday nights and our girls have attended their VBS since we moved here. We are members and attend a slightly smaller country church that doesn't have Sunday night services. They raised $230.99 for us this week with an attendance of approximately 75 kids. We have felt so blessed by this. What an example of God's people loving on others.

Isn't awesome when God moves His people. It's awesome to be apart of the body of Christ.
